Apply your nursing skills and make a real difference to child and maternal health in rural communities in Timor Leste.
Cooperativa Cafe Timor (CCT) is an organic coffee farmer cooperative that runs Clinic Cafe Timor through their primary health care division. It operates eight fixed clinics, three mobile clinic teams and 11 community extension teams in rural Timor Leste. The teams focus on interventions to improve maternal and child health and recently launched a Men’s Health Program. The main objective of this program is to engage men in health and reduce the rate of maternal and child morbidity and mortality.
As a Community Health Educator, you will enhance CTT’s training programs in general nursing care, maternal child health and family planning. You will mentor staff to improve their technical nursing and midwifery skills, as well as manage and evaluate health programs to continually improve quality.
Your work in this role will directly impact health care in rural Timor Leste and improve men’s engagement in family health programs.
