Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), GmbH is an international cooperation enterprise for sustainable development owned by the Federal Republic of Germany. On behalf of the German Government, GIZ has been operating in Timor-Leste since 2000 in several projects in many fields in cooperation with a range of different actors, such as economic development and employment promotion; and peace building and civil conflict transformation. GIZ supports Timorese governmental organizations and civil society.
The project “Support to Peaceful Development through Innovative Employment Promotion” is looking for a Field Coordinator to support the implementation of project activities in the target municipality Covalima. The project follows a value chain approach and has identified pig farming and carpentry as the value chains to be supported. Additionally the project works on improving the employability of young people.
|ResponsibilitiesThe Field Coordinator will support the implementation and monitoring of activities along the value chains and in the sector of vocational education. He/she will identify problems and assist in finding practical solutions.
