The Democratic Republic of East Timor has received financing administered by the World Bank under the Global Partnership for Education Fund toward the cost of the Management Strengthening Project (MSP), and seeks for : GRAPHIC DESIGNER

The main objectives of this assignment are: 
1.        To design book covers for MoE/EMBLI 
2.        To provide advice on the content layout of the books
3.        Complete content layout of books that are specified by MoE and the EMBLI

Expected Deliverable: 
1.        Completed designs for all book covers in the list below
2.        Advice on the content layout of the books
3.        Completed content layout of books that are specified by the MoE and the EMBLI coordinator.

The assignment is expected to start in early March 2015 and be completed by 25 June 2015. 
The applicants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (CV, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills, etc.). Qualification requirements are:
•        University degree preferably in the area related to publishing services
•        At least three year’s experience in graphic design;
•        Working experience in Timor-Leste;
•        Experience in graphic design and lay-out of documents for governmental institutions in Timor-Leste, especially education.  Experience in graphic design of learning   materials is highly desirable

The successful candidate shall be offered a standard remuneration package according to rates for this level of specialization.
