EMBASSY OF NEW ZEALAND: Job Advertisement – Administrator/Executive Assistant

The New Zealand Embassy is seeking an Administrator/Executive Assistant to work in the administration team of our Embassy.

In this busy position, you will be responsible for the management of the Ambassador’s diary, ensuring office processes and systems run smoothly, helping with short translations between English and Tetum, preparing Facebook posts and other communications, assisting our management team as needed, carrying out research and administering a small grants fund.

You will have experience in office administration, and be comfortable working as part of a team. You will also need to demonstrate strong spoken and written English skills, customer focus and attention to detail. A car driver’s licence would be useful.

The successful applicant will be employed on local terms and conditions and must have the right to work in Timor-Leste.  Obtaining and maintaining the appropriate working visa is the responsibility of the applicant and any offer of employment will be subject to this. Relocation to Dili is to be undertaken at the expense of the applicant.
