Cardno Emerging Markets is seeking an experienced and professional Legal Officer (Civil Service Commission) to support the Governance for Development (GfD) program.

Through the GfD program, the Australian Government is assisting the Government of Timor-Leste to implement its Strategic Development Plan by working with central agencies to improve systems that are most important to economic management and service delivery.

The Legal Officer will provide advice to the CSC and to ensure appropriate legal instruments are prepared to reflect policy decisions made by the government in order to implement effective public administration reform.


This is a Dili-based locally engaged staff position. Applicants must have a University Degree in a civil law system and a Certificate from the Timor-Leste Centro de Formação Jurídica.
